Damn I love playoff baseball... when the Indians fell off after their 07' season it no doubt lessened my interest in baseball.

I always followed the tribe regardless but as I said last year. That post season run brought me back to the game. Followed the tribe this year like I hadn't in years and now I enjoy any playoff baseball.

Hope the tribe can do it this year but it's fun being back as a fan.

You can bet the media are salivating over the possibility of a Red Sox-Yankees ALCS, as if I needed another reason to root for the Tribe and Astros.

Also, I suspect the Dodgers would like to see the Rockies win tonight. D'Backs have been a much tougher opponent for LA.

Hell, even if Cleveland and Houston win the media will bill the ALCS as what could have been a Yankees/Red Sox series

The hyperbole and worn out cliche's used to promote that rivalry is to the extent they should be required by the laws of vapid entertainment to involve Herbstriet. I'm surprised he hasn't hit them with some kind of trademark infringement lawsuit.
