Thanks for the play breakdown. We, as fans, have been clamoring to see that formation more throughout the season. As Weber got healthier in the latter half of the season, I thought we would see more of it on a regular basis and it just didn't happen. If Weber comes back, maybe that is the wrinkle they put in to keep defenses off balance, get the ball into the RB's hands, and decrease the amount of QB runs. Hopeful but not optimistic.

Regardless if Weber comes back, osu has a lot of running options so that less emphasis is put on the QB to run. Between Dobbins, McCall, Williams, Snead/Teague and if Campbell returns as well

Drives me nuts how tight our formations are. I thought it was a Beck thing, but maybe it's a Barrett thing?

For comparison, here's 2016:

Two of the biggest issues that year were the passing game and overall explosiveness. Needless to say, the hires of Wilson and Day addressed those issues and made the offense even more efficient.

I think we are going to see a nice, BIG, symmetrical circle on that chart @ the end of next year, hopefully on that outer ring.
