Iowa is definitely a pretender this year. Once again a bad defense. Dont see the D changing much for the better for Iowa in the near future, as one of their starters now is a frosh, Weiskamp, that kid is a negative on the D end and starting and playing him big minutes is ominous for their defensive future. Just not enough D for Iowa to be a tourney team this season.

since matta's first year, osu has had 9 winnings seasons (1-0, 2-0, 2-1, or 3-0) versus ttun.

since matta's first year, osu has had 1 losing season (0-1, 0-2, 1-2, or 0-3) versus ttun.

during our worst seasons ('04, '07, '08, '13, '14, '15, and '16), osu was 7-4 versus ttun.

matta was 20-7 versus ttun.

ho1tmann is 1-1 versus ttun.

beilein is 8-15 versus osu.

Harder to truly “knock down” a program when you rarely get a 1 game chance to ruin their season on the hardwood (hello Evan Turner). Point being, keep giving me more and more of that Matta record. Hate seeing them on top.

This year’s matchup will be a rock fight.
