Too bad Mark Few couldn't get an NBA-level guard on his team, because he was one great lead guard away this year from having a national championship team. I like Gonzaga, but their guards are just too trashy for me to buy them as a viable national championship team.

I do find it amusing the ESPN broadcasters doing the SoCon title game compared Wofford this year to 2008 Steph Curry-led Davidson and claimed that the Terriers could make the Elite 8. I guess there is always a chance that they face a fellow mid-major in the second round and then their Sweet 16 opponent has their entire starting five sick.

Northern Kentucky with a complete failure in game-management. Up 11 with about 3 minutes, they run up and down firing off 4 quick shots- including 2 from their center stepping out to chuck up 3's.

13-0 run has Oakland up by 2.

Gonzaga is the most overrated team in college basketball. Their guards will be totally overmatched when they play against elite backcourts. I know the Duke win had me high on their chances this season, but they just have not progressed and are no better on defense now than they were in November.

Play-in game between Clemson and NC State about to start. The one player who transferred that I wish we kept is Braxton Beverly, probably would have been an upgrade over Woods at this point and likely to continue getting better.

beverly wouldnt have fit into holtmann's system which is why he transferred after meeting with Holtmann....hes a shoot first PG and yes i know we need scoreres
