Just browsing around Bucknuts which lists the top 25 all time recruits for OSU based on their rankings. Nobody on the current roster is on that list (although Luther comes close).

All three of next years recruits are in the top 19.

I am really excited about this years team particularly after last night. But with everyone we could bring back next year - wow.

I do not know how far Bucknuts went back in their rankings but even Eldon Miller brought in some pretty highly ranked players not to mention the classes (players) that Williams and Thad brought in. It is sort of surprises me that Muhammed is close to one of the top 25 recruits because over the years we have had some pretty good basketball recruits.

That surprises me but again I guess it all depends on how far back they went with their rankings.

While I also cannot wait until next year when we bring in a pretty solid class of recruits the one thing that is going to hinder the development of this program is the lack of a "big" man to backup or share minutes with Kaleb offensively. This year's excites me on the defensive side of the court but not so much on the offensive side. However, their hustle should excite anyone.

I think it goes back to 2004. Jamar Butler & Matt Terwilliger are the oldest on their list.

Of course, I praised the team’s rebounding in the first half then I see they gave up 20 offensive boards. Not sure you ever win games doing that, but the Buckeyes did.

But...I still don’t think my eyes decieved me. The undersized Bucks rebound and give crazy effort on the glass. It wasn’t for a lack of trying. Half of Cronin’s offense is missing jump shots and flying to the boards. He definitely emphasized that at half time and his team got after it, so some credit to the Bearcats. Also, kWesson in foul trouble caused problems.

Finally, 2 offensive boards were directly on Kyle Young when he then busted his ass to prevent a 3rd on one possession. Another 2 were bad tipped out of bounds calls under the hoop, I think.

It’s a problem, will likely continue to be a problem, but there’s signs they can overcome it. It’s a mean team.

Overall, I think it is safe to say OSU is not going to be a dominant defensive rebounding team this year.
