bad news possibilities:

1. sdsu beating usu tonight
2. bgsu beating buffalo tonight
3. oregon beating washington tonight
3. memphis or wichita st. winning tomorrow instead of houston or cincy

Good new only Oregon left from today that can steal a bid. This is the guy I trust the most of any of the Bracket Matrix guys. He is ranked #2 overall and is damn accurate.

These were his rankings coming into today. He didn't even have Ohio State in Dayton. As of today he had Ohio State as the last 10 seed. I think they will be an 11 seed but either way he has Ohio State safely in the field as of now.

I think maybe Florida is ahead of Ohio State but I feel like he does Ohio State is ahead of the rest of the teams. I think we are in not sure if we can avoid Dayton but feel like 95% chance we make it and 75% chance we avoid Dayton.

41. Florida
42. TCU

43. Temple
44. St. John’s

Damn you Washington I sure hope they leave you and Arizona State out.

3 bid thieves emerged this year. I think they might have knocked Ohio State back to Dayton but I still think Ohio State is in.

I think Ohio State should be ahead of Temple and Belmont for sure. Arizona State too but not 100% on that.

Personally, of B1G teams I see people other than Katz rating above OSU, I do not expect Maryland, Purdue, PSU or Iowa to finish ahead of OSU this season. I would pick IU #1, then UW, then a cluster with MSU, Nebraska, OSU and UM. I expect all of those to be NCAA tournament teams. Northwestern is a wildcard team, could go either way. Everyone else I am pegging NIT or worse. So I think OSU being picked at 6 is reasonable but anything lower is probably at least a bit of a stretch.

I'll lead by noting that my predictions would only have been better through dumb luck and I say this in an entirely good spirit......but holy shit was that an airball of a set of predictions, man.
