They were great. My favorite part of the tournament is over. It usually boils down to blue bloods who hold no charm for me.

But for guys like you we should just have an 8 team field:

Duke vs UNC
Kansas vs Kentucky
UCLA vs Louisville
Notre Dame vs Syracuse

Same teams. Every year. :excited:

Kentucky's layup road to the final 4 is probably the most disgusting thing about this tournament. Getting favorable draws a lot of the time has a huge amount to deal with success in the tournament.

I know no one cares here but actually it's pretty awesome for me. I didn't think Kentucky had much of chance to make the Sweet 16 this year let alone the Final 4. Now my expectations have changed I will be bitterly disappointed if Kentucky doesn't make the Final 4. Kentucky deserves a championship in a year when no one thought they would do anything coming into the tournament for that 38-0 year they got screwed by the refs who couldn't see a clear shot clock violation in the final minutes vs Wisconsin when Kentucky was up 2 points that changed the entire game and led to the rule change that a shot clock violation could be looked at any time instead of just the final 2 minutes.

It's too bad Loyola is in the same region I would have loved to seen Loyola make the Final 4 and they still could but I wouldn't be loving it so much now. It reminds me the year Ohio State lost to Wichita State in the Elite 8. I was saying that year it was too bad Wichita State was in the same region because it been cool if they made the final 4 but then we lost and I was sick about it. Same thing here this year.

Well, it's not their fault Virginia and Arizona completely shit the bed, the Juggalos pissed away a 22 point lead, and Loyola was underseeded.

Having Kentucky in the Final Four may prove the shrewdest pick I made. Then again, anyone who follows this tournament has seen Virginia, Arizona, and Cincinnati get knocked off by higher seeds. 16 over 1 is ridiculous, but I had Calipari's latest 5 stars knocking off all 3 of those perennial underachievers.

Now watch them get beat by Kansas State. :lol:

Kansas State is about as generic and mediocre of a 8/9 seed as they come, so it would be fitting for them to win.
