Just because they're playing Nevada, I went over and read the shag thread. Jesus H. Godbastard Christ. Many of them are not only predicting a win over Nevada but also of taking out the juggalos. So much arrogance and so little actual achievement out of that school. I hope the Wolf Pack of One busts out a plunger on them.

Texas over Nevada is my favorite bet of the first round. Then again, I haven't really watched Nevada, but I know they have no one talker than 6'7" and 7 scholarship players, coming from a league that, of late, outside of SDSU has stunk in the tourney. Texas has an elite defense and physical mismatches in their favor. I really think Texas should win the game and don't think it will come down to the wire.

And now he's whining about not officiating in the Dance. The article is a must read, as Valentine plays the victim card, then the hero card, and just generally litters the article with quotes showing just how he's completely lacking in self-awareness. You want to know why you're not officiating in the tournament, Ted? Because you're a terrible, terrible ref. It's not because there's some big, unjust conspiracy, you clown.

What he did to Berry is nothing new for TV Ted. I have seen him turn his back on numerous players over the years in very similar situations. The problem with the Berry one is that it was a UNC player in a high profile game. HE needs to retire anyhow..

virginia just announced that de'andre hunter is out for the tournament with a broken wrist. though not a starter, this is a massive loss. hate to see it, too. they were going to be my pick for a title. bennett's team has played some of the purest basketball i've seen in a long time.
