A day after announcing his top 3, a potential Ohio State Buckeye adds 2 more programs to his list.

When it comes to recruiting, nothing is official until you sign on the dotted line. A day after announcing his top three of Ohio State, Alabama and Oregon, class of 2018 standout athlete Jermaine Eskridge (Tampa, FL / Jefferson) has now added two more programs into consideration for his college commitment.

Taking to his Twitter page to let the world know of his plans, the four-star talent stated that after thinking things through and talking with his mother, he is now considering in-state programs Florida and Miami to go alongside the Buckeyes, Crimson Tide and Ducks.

Racking up nearly 50 total scholarship offers throughout his recruitment, Eskridge, a one time Kentucky pledge, might be heavily sought after, but hasn’t seen much action on the high school level. Sitting much of his sophomore season out due to transfer rules, Eskridge is looking to get back into the swing of things and prove why he is thought to be one of the top two-way players on the scene.

Per the 247Sports Composite, the 6’3, 185-pound, Eskridge, who will reportedly announce his college decision in the coming weeks, is considered the seventh best athlete and 130th overall prospect in the junior class.

If Eskridge decides on Ohio State, he would follow in the footsteps of fellow class of 2018 prospect Brian Snead (Seffner, FL/Armwood), a four-star running back, who chose the Buckeyes over the likes of Florida, Michigan and Tennessee after visiting the OSU campus for the annual Friday Night Lights camp over the weekend.

Will Eskridge end up in Columbus or will he stay closer to his home in the Sunshine State? We might not have to wait much longer to find out. Stay with Land-Grant Holy Land for the latest.

Offer excites Alfano

Ohio State didn’t just pick up three verbal commitments over the weekend, they also offered a trio of underclassmen.

One of the prospects to earn an offer from OSU was Antonio Alfano (Rahway, NJ / Bergan Catholic). Although he has more than two seasons until he plays on the college level – and numerous scholarship offers currently on the table – the class of 2019 defensive end is definitely holding the offer from the Buckeyes in high consideration.

“Without being specific, Ohio State is near the top of the list. It means the world to me to get that offer this early. It tells me that if I continue to work hard and train that I can be something special,” The 6’5, 250-pound sophomore stated to Jeremy Birmingham of LandOf10.com.

Picking up offers and interest weekly, Alfano is on his way to All-American status. While OSU might be his “biggest” offer at the moment, Boston College, Duke and Penn State are among the programs trying to keep the Garden State gem out of of the grasp of Urban Meyer and the Buckeyes.
