If Burrow transfers you are starting spring ball next year with only 2 QB's on the entire roster, neither of which has ever started a game. One of which has never taken a snap in a college football game.

They must land a QB in the 2018 class
There's almost no scenario where all 3 backups are here in 2018. Frankly urban has been lucky that he hasn't already made it clear who is the loser of the competition.

Burrow physically does everything well enough in passing and running but doesn't have the strongest arm and doesn't run as high end as a true speed guy at QB.

However, Joe makes instant great decisions and that is his greatest calling card is his smarts.

Not sure I agree with that statement.

I've personally repeated this ad nauseum, but Burrows - not Haskins - won the QB long ball competition. Plus, as we've seen in his (admittedly limited) snaps, he throws a beautiful long ball.

Burrows might not be the second coming of Jamarco Russell, but he has a more than capable arm.

in my non expert opinion Burrow is/could be a better passing/throwing QB than JT with the same mobility. Now can he LEAD like JT (if given the chance) that is the $$$ question.....

i just feel he is better suited than Haskins for what Urbz wants to do

Yet you still spell his name wrong

You can't improve his speed. If you think defenses dared JT to keep it so the backs never get the rock, just wait.

This

We have seen the QB's with the extreme skill sets (Miller, Jones) and we have seen JT Barrett be no worse than "above average" in any skill category.

My gut tells me Haskins ends up giving way to Martel because from what limited playing time I have seen his lack of running ability (both zone read and actual running) is alarming.

The other part of me thinks Wilson/day can design the offense around a one dimensional passing QB if need be so we shall see

Sam Bradford.

and the huge caveat to that last sentence is: IF Urban lets them
