Yes. It's hell all the time for more reasons than I can even fit on this page. A few:

Florida fans
Heat
FSU fans
Heat
Da U fans
Everyone drives like it's their first time behind the wheel
Florida man is real
Heat

Suffice to say it wasn't my idea to move here. And we moved from BALTIMORE shortly after the Freddie Gray riots. As bad as that shithole city is, I will never forget how we snuggled under blankets to watch tOSU win the Natty.

Convince the hubby to come home - plenty of room for the family in Ohio - but bring the blankets.

Just take a vacation to Florida in winter, like the rest of us.

Wish I could but he he's an electrical specialist for boats.

LOL there's a HUGE difference between the French sailboats up north and boats down here. Lots of cheap speed boats. Luckily he doesn't work on the little ones.

Nothing wrong with the little boats but it's boring to work on those I guess. So our options are limited to Annapolis, Florida coastal cities or San Diego. I'm sure there's some kind of trailer park boathouses in Xichigan.

It's not as bad as I'm really making it out to be (the heat and driving is). But, not my favorite place to live.

Makes sense, gotta go where the money is (especially with a family to support).

Maybe someday you can do the opposite of a lot of people - move from Florida and retire in Ohio. :lol:
