2018 Week 4 CFB Open Thread

So, is Wisconsin’s goal to see how many times they can lose in the Big Ten Championship? Because the CFP is out of the question already and they’re becoming an official laughing stock in Indy. What is it now, they’ve lost 5 of the last 6 or 6 of the last 7? LOL.

Wisky should be 1-3 except for the luck involved in 2012

Other thing that bugs me is OSU should have been there 5 straight years except for 2 fluke games 2015 MSU and 2016 FG blocked vs PSU.

Six straight years if not for 2012 sanctions.

Yes but if you’ve watched his recruiting discussions, he seems lost when it comes to properly identifying high school talent.

This. He will be kind of like the OBC in my opinion.

Charisma guy who will land the occasional gem because of it but can't/wont build a true top shelf recruiting organization.

South Carolina at it's apex might just be good enough for ASU fans for a while, all mid major fans fall into the trap of firing the good steady coach because he can't "get them to the next level".

When's the last time we lost to a MAC team? It had to have been before the deuce.

The only Buckeye loss to a current MAC team was to Buchtel in 1894, before the Forerunner of the B1G called the Western Intercollegiate Conference was formed in 1896. Buchtel was coached by John Heisman (yes, him) at the time, and they became Akron just before WWI.

Akron's next win over a B1G team was last week when they overcame a 21-3 halftime deficit to down NW'ern 39-34.

I fucking hate Buchtel.

They're a rival. Mark it.
