2018 Week 7 CFB Open Thread

well crap I got confused as to which thread was this week's thread..

Anyway - as I posted - the weather is about to get colder and obviously the extended summer most of the country has seen is literally ending in the next 2-3 days. Someone (or a few someones) always find a way to lose that first game after the seasons truly change from Summer to Fall. It'll be the same this year probably.

Specifically looking at Ntre Ame, UCF, Ped State and Texas for some reason. I think all 4 of them could conceivably lose.

They would, but CBS has priority of choices. Essentially, they get to pick first each week which game they will broadcast and then will slot it at the 3:30pm time.
ESPN gets to sprinkle the rest of the games across it's networks and times.

CBS gets first dibs on SEC games starting week 3 or 4.

all CBS games are in the 3:30 ET time slot.
except one weekend per year when they get a double header and add a prime time slot as well. which has been the LSU/Bama game for the last few years.
