2019-2020 B1G Men's Basketball (Official Thread)

As of today, Ohio State teams lead the nation in margin of victory for:

Division I Basketball (26.1 pts/game)

AND

FBS Football (36.2 pts/game)

I wonder if any other school has ever been able to make that statement.

illinois leads maryland from 18:48 in the first to 0:02 in the second... and loses.

I do not understand how coaches do not understand that at the end of a game like that you should never call your last timeout up 1 with 2.1 seconds left because all that does is allow the other team to miss the FT on purpose and leave you with a miracle heave at the end. Why in the world do you call your last time out before he shoots the FT ? You actually want him to make the FT when you are down only 1 because you will be shooting a 3 anyway also if you use your last timeout that allows them to miss on purpose because if you kept your timeout and they miss on purpose you rebound and call timeout and you have about 1.5 to 1.8 seconds left and get to inbounds the ball.
Yes I get it your chances of winning are still pretty low but they are not next to zero which is what they are when you have to heave from 75 feet.

This is one of the most frustrating things I see in college basketball that coaches are clueless to that situation.
