2019-2020 College Basketball Discussion (Official Thread)

This is. Evansville is not a good basketball team. Not that Robert Morris was anything great, but they did finish that season 24-11 and 14-4 in the NEC, so they were at least decent. Evansville finished last year 11-21, 5-13 in the MVC and weren't projected to be much better this season.

The Bobby Mo game was on the road as well. Evansville came in and pissed on the floor of Rupp Arena.

We'll see if the prognostications for Evansville were wrong, but as of right now this is a bit of a shocker.

Camera guy #2 has a thing for Mannion’s mom

Dude, having lived in AZ for a decade on and off, I can vouch for older women not getting older bodies. It's unreal how many smoke shows from the rear completely change when you see their faces and their 70 or 80! :yow2:

I ain't mad at em, shiiiiiitt, I'll be a pool boy for a sugar mama at anytime. LOL

Ok back to hoops and OMG I thought it was a prank when I saw UK lost. Awesome. :banger:

WVU going into the Zoo and controlling the game so far vs. Pitt. This is not last year’s Mountaineers.
tshiebwe is going to pose a problem. affirm what i said below. wvu may very well be a tougher game than uc. good thing for osu that kaleb developed his perimeter game. don't want kaleb facing tshiebwe in the blocks all game long like he tried to do against houston.

i think wvu is going to be better than many are predicting and certainly much better than they were last year. their interior of culver and tshiebwe might be among the three best (and probably the most physically daunting) we face all year, which should be a big challenge for us because our strength largely resides with kaleb. thinking uc will finish the regular season inside the top 25 (if their frontcourt isn't poopy diapers) and wvu inside the top 35.

WVU and UC are the two nonconference opponents for OSU that I thought might be a lot better than the casual fan might expect. I do think WVU should pose a stiff challenge for OSU.

absolutely insane finish in the byu-houston game. holy smokes.

houston up 71-70 over byu. byu has the ball with under 10 to go and gets ball stripped up top. houston player has wide-open court after the strip and then carries the ball -- unguarded, mind you -- before getting his dunk blocked by the rim. refs call carry and byu gets ball short of halfcourt. byu in-bounds the ball with 5 seconds to go and the guy dribbles down to shoot a contested 18-foot jumper that hits the rim, flies straight up in the air... and goes in.
