Goodwin is definitely a high major rotation player. Watson is playing like garbage thus far this season. While Goodwin could have helped some, yes OSU got who they needed.

The SEC Network highlights I saw of the Charleston Southern game were super lame. All they showed were Mizzou highlights, not one good moment for Charleston Southern. Soulless bastards.

St Joe's has one of the ugliest courts in college basketball. Who thought it was a good idea to paint a huge gray hawk that stretches from one arc to the other, with an entirely different and much smaller crimson hawk painted across midcourt on top of the gray one?

UVA beats UNC 56-47. Bacot actually played in spite of the ankle injury last week.

This season feels like it is gonna be a huge year for the B1G. There is a power vacuum at the top of the sport amongst the blue bloods unlike anything we have seen in many years, and there are four or five B1G teams that I think could make the Sweet 16, and it wouldn't be a surprise at all to see a couple F4 teams out of the B1G.

louisville losing to a 5-3 texas tech team without ramsey (17.3 ppg) is kind of a bad loss, though it looks better on paper.

win on sunday and osu is no worse than #2 with a bunch of first place votes.

A win against UK could move us to #1

With MD and UL losing there are now only 6 unbeatens left - OSU, Butler, Auburn, San Diego St, Duquesne and Liberty.

heck, i'd say it should move osu to #1, which we might deserve as it is now. interestingly, kansas has nova on the same day as our uk game, so anything but a jayhawk beatdown will be a favorable comparison.

the last 20 national champions have been in the top 12 of the week 6 ap poll. i've mentioned it before that the early december polls are more predictive than early march polls and certainly much more predictive than early november polls.

moreover, 8 of the last 10 champs have returned at least 50% of their scoring from the prior year. only 4 teams in the top 12 fit this year: louisville, maryland, baylor, and ohio state.

if you consider walker for woods to be a wash since walker is a junior transfer, osu returned about 78% of last year's scoring. even without walker, it's still easily over 50%.
