While on the topic of scheduling, I find it intwresting that apparently the schedule is still being influenced by contracts signed under Coach Matta. The TV guys said the Lowell game was agreed to when Matta was coach. Amazing that the guarantee games were even planned over 2 years in advance. Hopefully this year is the last of the sham "Buckeye Classic" tourneys that are exempt events that exist solely to get 3 buy games for OSU that count as 1.

I'm trying to figure out how we will replace Kaleb next year. Not sure Young or Liddell are really big enough to play that role, but it's all we got. Not sure Key or Diallo will be good enough to get a lot of minutes

The offense will look a lot different. Sueing is our best offensive wing and presumably Liddell and Gaffney will show some improvement by years end and into next year (and hopefully Gaffney adds about 15 lbs). I suspect with Carton running the show and more athleticism in the lineup, we will look to push tempo much more. While I'd prefer to have Kaleb return, it will probably be a more exciting brand of basketball to watch.

replayed this part of the game probably 20 times... but not for the reason you're thinking. i love to note bench reactions when there is a great play. you have muhammad and gaffney on the right. muhammad trips over his own towel because he's so excited, while gaffney kicks his left leg so high that he loses his footing and falls back. all the way on the the left, there is quadrian going berzerk, which is easier to see on a big screen. and then there is young with that big ol' smile on his face as he bounces with joy after the assist. probably enjoyed that play more than his own alley-oop dunk.
