2019 Captains (Official Thread)

Personally I’d love to see KJ Hill come back and have him and Jordan on offense and Fuller (please come back!) and BB or Harrison on defense. I know Borland was already a captain but.....what if he isn’t a starter next year?

KJ Hill is the wild card. I honestly think he's the best NFL ready WR on the roster. Great routes, sure hands. Pre-injury and pre-dropsies vs TCU only Mack rivaled him. Pre-draft grade is the big Q. Right now he's in that gray area where he could be a 2nd round pick or fall to the 4th.

The other issue is I don't know if Hill could have a better year next year if Haskins also leaves.

I think we'll get a hint of which way he's leaning if he's in the graduation ceremony this month on the 16th. If he's done with his degree (which he was on track to do in February) then I think he's gone.

Agreed. I don't think he can improve his draft stock by coming back in 2019.

Congrats to all the new Captains! What an honor to have bestowed on them. I really enjoy seeing Saunders become one. I think we all know the work he had to do to achieve what he has. It has always pleasured me to see someone who started so low on the totem pole achieve great things.
