2019 Fall Camp and Other Tidbits

As Dennis Miller used to say. "Ouch, babe!"

I would not be surprised if our offense is more difficult to deal with than in recent years.

The ability of Fields to take pressure off of Dobbins and his legs being such a weapon to keep the sticks moving will be huge. Not to mention what it does in the red zone as well.

If Fields could master the crossing routes this will be a very very good offense.

IMO this offense may be more difficult to get off the field. It may not be as productive or reliant on big chunk plays, but I can see this offense being TOP nightmare for defenses.

3rd and 8 we could do basically anything and if its all covered Fields can still run to pick up the first down. We will see a lot of that where defenses do a great job but just can't stop Fields.

I was watching the BIG Championship game against NW last night and one of the commentators mentioned that Ohio State was tied for first in most penalties per game in 2018. I think he said we averaged 10 penalties per game. NW averaged the least amount of penalties per game.

One way the team can significantly improve this year is by addressing this problem and limiting the amount of penalties per game. Has anyone heard Day address this problem?
