2019 Week 3 CFB Open Thread

Just a 3 month tune up for Clemson to get ready for the playoff. Must be nice.

This has been true of every dynasty, other than Bama, that I can recall.

FSU & Nebraska of the '90's played literally no one in conference.

Miami in the '80's and early 2000's

USC in the early 00's

Give the devil his due, Saban has made a dynasty playing in a legit conference (The fact that ESPN has vastly over inflated how legit isn't relevant). That's the only one I can think of that played in a conference full of week in and week out land mines.

not putting this in the game thread for obvious reasons...

so joel klatt just said that peyton ramsey not putting his name in the transfer portal after michael penix assumed the starting spot means that ramsey has shown a "team-first ethic" or something very close to that.

if a head coach is fired and a top assistant isn't name the new head coach, is the assistant not showing a "team-first ethic" if he takes a job elsewhere? if osu had hired matt campbell instead of ryan day and if day moved on to another powerhouse program, would you question day's devotion to ohio state and its players?
