2019 Week 3 CFB Open Thread

Maryland's win over Syracuse was far more "impressive" than what Clemson is doing, not that it will matter.

Literally just heard a radio show talk about how impressive Clemson was against a "good" Syracuse team. Then they went on to say that Oklahoma really hasn't been that bad in the playoffs and might be the best team in the country.

The sports media really is full of absolute morons. These takes sound like they're from guys who watch a couple games a weekend and read headlines otherwise.

They watch the 15 minute highlight videos from Victors Valiant on YouTube and make their prognostications from that.

Purdue, Illinois, MD, and MSU were pathetic.

The first 2 just don't matter. After Purdue lost to Nevada they were done. Illinois has sucked for years. MD and MSU were bad but I didn't expect MD to be any good and MSU is going 9-4 most years.

I care about getting great wins to prop up the cfp hopes, but it's too early to worry about this shit. It sucks I know, but I'll worry about it in late October.
