2020-2021 Ohio State Men's Basketball (Official Thread)

For once he is right. Lots of people are overlooking Justice Sueing, and he is going to be a star at OSU. Musa Jallow is not really a drop from Luther Muhammad. Presumably Porter won't quit the team before the season is over and leave them with only one PG option in February and March. Towns will surely help the cause. Key may be a good addition and Liddell could make a jump.

Kaleb was great, but center is the most overrated position in college basketball - a lot of times college teams actually improve the season after losing a star big who led them the prior year, because they become more free-flowing, positionless and willing to adapt to whatever is working that particular game instead of force-feeding one guy every game even when he is struggling, not to mention the guys who come back approach the new season with a sense of increased responsibility and opportunity.

I think if these guys can all be healthy and play out the season, it will be Holt's best team yet.

I am not pessimistic but I feel like I just don't know. We need Duane to be a consistent positive. We need a lot of production from the wings and several of the key players there are still rehabbing injury issues and won't have played in YEARS. We don't know what a Holtmann team looks like without the Wessons. So yeah. Don't know.

Towns gonna play some C for us?
yeah, i was pleasantly surprised by his height. pleased to see key at 6'8", too. and brown at 6'6". guessing they're all on the short side of their listed heights, though.

team sets up to have some sneaky length. no trees unless diallo is on the court, but we're decently sized at the wing. sounds about right since we're a team full of forwards.

Wonder why Sueing wasn’t listed?!
back offices are probably fearful of some arcane tortious liability when dealing with a player by the name of justice sueing. might be construed by especially litigious parties as libelous to misstate a player's height. going forward, we should protect our interests by instead providing a height range for each player. justice sueing? 6'4" to 6'10". ibrahima diallo? 6'7" to 8'5". i strongly feel that this is the most sensible response.
