Ohio State parents voice support for playing fall football

The college football season is on the cusp of collapsing, as conferences are on the verge of canceling a fall football season.

But Ohio State wants to play. The athletic department wants a season. The players certainly want to play. They were given a chance to opt out, and every Ohio State player opted to play. The coaching staff wants a season.

And even the Ohio State football parents are voicing their support for a college football season. Parents of the football players shared their position in an open letter on Twitter late Sunday evening.



Their voices aren’t the ones that ultimately matter. The Big Ten presidents have been on calls discussing a path forward for a college football season — or a cancellation. But the stance of the players, coaches and even parents is clear. They all want a college football season.
