2020 Week 4 CFB Open Thread

Auburn (8)
Florida (5)
LSU (6)
UGA (4)
Bama (2)
T A&M (10)

All play nobody SEC teams. Question of the day is if any of them lose, is there enough room in the top 10 for the team they lose to?
Scheduling issue on their part. They only managed to get one matchup between ‘ranked’ teams, where Auburn plays #23 Kentucky, who is only ranked because the B1G teams aren’t ranked yet. But watch them call that a ranked opponent for Auburn later in the season, when Kentucky will be about 4-5.

Yep

You are never going to see the SEC bias in the polls more clearly than this year. Close wins or upsets of ranked SEC teams is beacuse the SEC is so tough. OSU doesn't win by 3 TD's and they get dinged because the B1G, and everyone else ESPN doesn't have a financial interest in promoting, sucks.

It's science.

Honestly, this shit is why I have a borderline negative interest in this season. Look, I wouldn't be here if I didn't like Buckeye football. However, I've been watching professional leagues for months manage compelling competitions in light of restrictions and anything else and you can trust the process of crowning a "champion". We all know CFB has flaws and shit, that's partly why we enjoy it - the debates, the bullshitting, chicanery to stump for your team. But I imagine this year will be the most insufferable year ever, and I wasn't really sure that was possible after the last decade.
