It just seemed like it.

A few notes on the above list.

Tovar did get to play behind Dan Wilkinson one year. Spielman played behind, arguably, the worst defensive lines in Ohio State history. Gradishar was an outside linebacker. Hard to get that many more tackles than everyone else on the team from that position, but Randy played faster than everyone else. Same could be said of AJ Hawk. Perhaps even more impressive, Chunky Brown was a nose guard and is still top-15 all time.
