ShowMeBuck

You know what? Chicken butt.
Not sure the legitimacy of this but I thought I’ve heard that Josh Myers is the type that could stick around longer than some might suspect. If so, the idea of the O Line next year is very encouraging.

NPF/PJ
Miller
Myers
D Jones or M Jones
NPF/PJ

Obviously there are options and I’m not an expert on where guys would be, ie: NPF staying at RT or moving over, etc. Also, the Jones battle at OG would be interesting, etc.

What’s exciting about Myers return would be the continued leadership at the all important C position and how it allows Miller to continue his development.

I have to imagine Josh will go and get paid and, Miller sliding to C would settle the Jones/Jones debate. But if Josh comes back then.......wow. You bring in a new QB and the 2 young RBs behind a lot of stability.

I don't think I've ever seen a first year starter at tackle be practically invisible all year in a good way. Has he given up a sack or been called for a penalty all year?
He was called for a hold in the 4th quarter of the Clemson game. I didn't see any obvious holding live, the network did not show a replay, and I haven't rewatched the entire game since then.

At “worst” if we lose Myers and NPF, I think we are still in great hands. Anyone who watched that MSU game can see that the future is bright. Losing those 2, we could still start:
PJjr
Vimahi
Miller
M Jones
D Jones

And I could see Wylper, Jackson(frosh)and Wray pushing for minutes as well. That’s a damn good OL with solid depth behind the starters

Maybe Myer returns as somehow he didn't get the recognition he deserved with awards although maybe he can win the best center award.

I doubt NPF goes pro after starting for 8 games. That's not a lot of reps and this is his first year starting.

I'd think next years combo goes

NPF-Miller-Myer-Jones-Johnson
Or...

NPF-Jones-Miller-Jones-Johnson

Either way an extremely talented OL even though we potentially lose 3.
