Everybody is somebody else's weirdo.
The latest information from the Ohio State Ticket Office included the following;

While the information above pertains to the 2022 football season and beyond, we certainly understand that season ticket holders are eager to receive information and details regarding the 2021 football season. The Department of Athletics continues to work with state and local health officials on protocols surrounding fan attendance at games. Once more details become available, information will be sent regarding 2021 season ticket renewals and seat selection timelines and processes.

Spring Football Game Tickets

Attendance for the football spring game, planned for April 17 at noon, is still to be determined with Columbus Public Health. Also to be determined is the attendance at post-season conference or NCAA championship events that Ohio State may host in the Covelli Center.

The Department of Athletics is aligned with the University in making the health, safety and well-being of our student-athletes, administrative staff and visitors to campus our priority. Athletics will continue to follow all federal, state, local, and conference guidance and protocols for hosting and playing sports during this challenging time.

Lacrosse and Men’s Soccer Tickets

Fans wishing to attend lacrosse matches at Ohio Stadium and the final home men’s soccer match at Jesse Owens this weekend – Sunday at 1 p.m. vs. Michigan State – can walk up to each facility on game day and receive a digital ticket with an assigned seat until we reach capacity.

There will not be an admission charge for any of these regular season events. All fans will be asked to share contact information in case contact tracing needs to be conducted after the event.

TALKING 'BOUT PRACTICE. The good news is, Ohio State gave away close to 80 percent of its available tickets to this year's spring game, and the remaining bit only cost $5 for the general public to purchase.

The bad news is, if you weren't among the blessed 19,180 to already have their ticket, the resale market ain't exactly kind right now.

The cheapest ticket to the Spring Game on Stubhub on Tuesday evening was listed with a $36 price tag, just a day after the Buckeyes sold every ticket available for $5 each. The most expensive ticket available, which will get a Buckeyes fan a seat in the AA deck of Ohio Stadium, is on sale for more than $300.

Just sayin': This pisses me off. I'm sure there were a lot of people that actually wanted to buy a ticket and attend the Spring Game that were closed out. Ohio State should crack down on people who buy the tickets and immediately sell them for a huge profit.

OHIO GOV. MIKE DEWINE CONFIDENT OHIO FOOTBALL STADIUMS WILL BE AT FULL CAPACITY THIS FALL

122610_h.jpg

In a statement to the Toledo Blade, the governor's office expressed optimism that Ohio will reach a rate at which COVID-19 mitigation protocols will be below the established benchmark long before the start of football season.

"Ohio has set a benchmark that we will remove COVID mitigation protocols when we drop below high case levels," DeWine's office said in the statement. "This will happen when our two-week rate drops below 50 cases per 100,000 residents. We believe this is likely to happen well before the start of football season, and the CDC echoed that optimism in statements this week."

“We’re hopefully going to have an opportunity to be at 100 percent capacity. We’re going to work with (Columbus health commissioner Dr. Mysheika) Roberts locally like we have always done and see where we are when we get to August. We just have to wait and see.

“That’s our goal is to get to that point. Hopefully that happens.”

There are still a lot of moving parts to this story. The Big Ten may maintain some control over what crowds could look like, based on where the 11 different states that house Big Ten schools are at with their Covid protocols this fall.

Out of fairness, the conference could rule that all schools must abide by the strictest local protocols imposed on any of the schools. Of course, the flip side will be the athletic directors pushing for full attendance to avoid another year of huge deficits and deep budget cuts.

The Columbus Dispatch shared a report today noting that OSU has not begun its ticket renewal process for 2021 yet. Ordinarily, that would happen in March but it was delayed due to the uncertainty surrounding the pandemic.

In that report, OSU ticket director Brett Scarbrough indicated the renewal process could take place during the month of June. OSU has gone to a digital ticket process, due, in large part, to the pandemic.

Roughly half of OSU’s season ticket holders decided to apply their 2020 season ticket purchases to their 2021 balance.

Just confirmed with my dad that we're going to be getting tickets to the Oregon game. I'm so damn pumped to get back in the Shoe, been almost 6 years since I've been to a game. Will also be going to the Minnesota game if I can find tickets.
