Head Coach
I didn't see one made so I thought I'd start one.

The biggest question with this team despite if we will even play is the QB spot.

We will have a 3 QB race with McCord, Miller, and CJ Stroud. The three of them will be basically even as far as college reps go so this will be a very fascinating battle.

OL- should be really good still. Munford/Miller/NPF/Jones/Jones is a pretty good starting 5 and we still have Paris too if Munford opts out.

RB- I assume Sermon can still play so nothing changes

WR- maybe Olave leaves but IMO he shouldn't. So at worse we lose Olave and return everyone else

DL- unchanged

LB- unchanged

Secondary- lose Wade so the depth wont be what it is typically. Brown/Banks/Johnson/Proctor/Hooker is pretty good though.

Really still in a good position to do well if we play. The QB spot is the glaring issue obviously but I like Ryan Days record of getting QBs ready to roll in less than a year.

Set to dominate regardless.

What I want to see happen is for teams to play in Minneapolis/Detroit/Indianapolis because theres roofs over the buildings. I would rather stop practicing now and ramp back up in December. Have training camp in December and start playing indoors in January with a seasons end in late March.

That way we give the players 4 months off.

Plus if the players have an extra year of eligibility then we will have the bodies for a start up next August. Who am I kidding though we all know the season will come around and these fucks will cancel again citing safety concerns.

I think Stroud and Miller separate themselves from McCord; I think Miller will really surprise people when they see him behind an offensive line that can actually pass protect.

This fucking sucks. We should be so fucking excited right now for the season to start and...no.

Wait until September 5th itll really hit home then...

As for the QB race... I think for some reason McCord wins. Which will cause transfer issues.

.

Transfer issues are going to arise no matter who wins the QB job.

But what will be so promising about the 2021 season is that all 3 perennial CFP teams(OSU, Bama and Clemson) are breaking in new starters at QB AND RB.
I can see Bama starting Soph, Bryce Young next year at QB and they have a great tandem fighting for RB between Jase McClellan and Trey Sanders. Clemson will obviously start DJ Uigaleilei at QB and he got serious game reps while Sunshine sat with COVID-19. RB they return Etienne’s main backup in Lyn J Dixon, but also have former 5star Demarkus Bowman becoming a Sophomore, and that should make an interesting battle as Bowman has a higher ceiling.
And then we have our Buckeyes, who 2 true Sophomores in CJ Stroud and Jack Miller, who had no fall camp and will enter an open battle against true 5star frosh in Kyle McCord. And the winner gets a WR Corp, that IMO is the best of the 3 teams. And at RB I also feel that OSU has the best room of the bunch. A Sophomore Miyan Williams will battle, Senior, Master Teague, Junior, Steele Chambers,RS Soph Marcus Crowley and 2 highly rated incoming freshman Trayveon Henderson and Evan Pryor. Tbh, I can see 1 freshman redshirting, and 1-2 guys transferring. It’s an awfully loaded room with a lot of talent. But I can see Miyan Williams/Marcus Crowley starting and then Day finding ways to get Henderson the ball in blowouts. Regardless of what happens, OSU has a lot of talent that needs to step up as it’s still unproven. But getting a normal off season will help immensely, and once the Buckeyes can get past Minnesota and Oregon healthy and with Ws, there’s 6gms in which the guys can grow up. It’s weird saying this, but the hardest game looking at the schedule so early in conference is going to be IU looking for revenge. Penix and Fryfogle returning will be big for them, but I see another Buckeye victory.

Bowman surprised many and transferred to UF this fall.

Re Stroud and Miller- aren't they still freshman from an eligibility perspective? 2020 didn't count right?

Thanks for pointing that out. In that case RB is wide open for Clemson and you can throw true frosh Will Shipley in the mix too.

Also good point , Covid is going to change up a lot of terms and eligibility. But I still stand by the rest of my assessment
