I can think of a few LBs, but no reason to go there...

Are you referring to any of these?

The Buckeye linebackers won't be all that young in 2021, but the expected contributors just haven't seen a ton of action due to the players ahead of them on the depth chart. Right now, the best bet is that we'll mostly be seeing some combination of Teradja Mitchell, Dallas Gant, Craig Young, K'Vaughan Pope, and Cody Simon. That would be three seniors, a third-year player in Young, and a redshirt freshman in Simon.

3 things I view are obvious key notes for 2021- *Josh Proctor is 6”2 and has looked like a stud who makes multiple big plays more games than not. Has Eric berry potential. *I still have faith in 5-star recruit Tyreke Johnson at corner or nickel/safety because as a redshirt junior in 2021’ he brings a lot of experience and probable skill yet his only real opportunity to show it was maybe 2 games in 2020. *J.T. Tuimolau is listed at 25 pounds bigger than Jack Sawyer and with his combined athleticism one would have to think that translates better as the first true frosh to crack the D-line rotation. I.e. the Bosa’s

I think Sawyer said he's up to 265 which I believe makes him the same measurements as Chase Young as a JUNIOR. Get both on campus because both are playing substantially.

I tend to agree with all these points. Proctor is primed for a breakout year and he has been pretty good imo. I am not throwing the towl in on Tyreke, although he does need to step up in a big way to get on the field. On JT, he has star potential but I think Sawyer has more instant impact potential...Sawyer is going to be in the two-deep this season imo. JT's best chance for instant impact is to pack on a little more weight and play DT...this is also assuming he actually picks us haha. I think one way or the other, DE is going to be stacked...we just need to find our answers at DT.

Well, hopefully the Dline stays great and has no injuries next season. A great pass rush always helps the DBs and we'll need it at least early on until they get settled. Serious drop in LB play but the guys have at least had snaps and are very talented. Just hope we deploy Silver Bullet attack style Defense from start to finish. No mercy
