And in that small sample size, Egbuka has already recorded a career-high long reception of 85 yards and career-high long as returner of 67 yards. He’s certainly starting to build up some momentum in the kick return game for Ohio State, at the least, a program that hasn't seen a player take a kickoff back for a touchdown since 2010.

“I feel like it’s definitely coming, it’s something I’ve just got to keep going at,” Egbuka said after OSU’s 66-17 win over Maryland on Saturday. “But (there were) amazing blocks overall from my teammates so, we know we’re going to bust one open soon. So I’m just waiting on that.”

Safety 2 + field goal 3 (1/1) + extra points 7 (7/7) = 12

Just sayin': Special teams was perfect on place kicking and scored 12 points yesterday. Noah Ruggles was really a great acquisition from the transfer portal.

Also, Jesse Mirco has a 44.1 average on just 14 punts. Not bad for a true Freshman and he's only going to get better.
