Worthy took a late visit to Bama on his own dime, became very pro Bama on his social media, and the entire DFBIA was convinced he was headed to Bama. Then Worthy suddenly "turned down" his Bama offer and signed with "a struggling Michigan program ... with the intention of building an elite football program that can challenge the predictability of today's college football." Yeah, sure thing, honey....

Truth is, Bama flipped LSU WR commit JoJo Earle on Signing Day and he took Worthy's place in Bama's class. I'd love to see a copy of Worthy's LOI from Bama, you know, the one he didn't sign so that he could instead sign on with that "struggling Michigan program" with no offensive identity and a head coach in limbo for the past year. I'd love to see that Bama LOI but never will, because it doesn't exist, it was never sent out by Bama. Worthy didn't get into Michigan, he ended up at Michigan. Big difference.

Final stupid quote: "Their mission, like so many others who’ve chosen the same path, is to bring some much needed parity back to the college football world." I can't speak for every player's "mission" - my guess is that most missions would be to get to the NFL and make a lot of money - but I can virtually guarantee you that no player ever had as his mission "bring[ing] some much needed parity back to the college football world." That assertion is just plain dUMb.
Exact same situation between Jordan Battle/Bama and Daxton Hill/Michigan in the ‘19 class.

If that’s not parity shifting recruiting on defense I don’t know what is.

Absolutely no overall lack of quality or very specific massive gaps (DT, CB) to be found here.

Edit: That 2021 defensive class is the kind that hurts you for years... it’s shockingly bad even when compared to their other highly, highly mediocre classes.

But, hey... when this guy assures you things are under control, what have you got to worry about?

Xoron:

Would OSU Title Be Legitimate?

  • Since OSU did not have to earn a full season of games would a title have an asterisk? A lot of people would not recognize it since you need to win 14 games for a national title.

To be fair it has happened ten times in the history of college football.
But what if they won the final game by only kicking field goals and a safety, but the other team scored a touchdown?

Cretins. Where’s your passion, your whimsy? Your love for ants and rubber-tree plants? Do not the masses need their opiates? I leave you to your drab, dreary, “fact-based” existences.

Harbaugh stays, readjusts the coaching staff and modernizes the offense by relinquishing offensive style preferences. O State loses a ton -

<snipping his list of departing buckeyes>

For any team, that is a ton to overcome. There is a ton of production walking out of that door after Bama beats them. Staff members will also leave if Urban takes the Jacksonville job, including their strength coach who is highly regarded. Justin Fields 2.0 isn't anywhere to be found with their current QBs or incoming guys. Master Teague, Steele Chambers and Marcus Crowley aren't reliable as bell cow running backs. We saw what happens to Garrett Wilson without Chris Olave in the B1G Championship game.

On defense, there are no more Bosa brothers or Chase Young that will line up on the d-line. Their secondary outside of Wade is atrocious. They have to replace ALL of their starting LB's. None of their DT depth can put up the performances their current DT's have. There is no leadership left after this season on that side of the ball.

Add in what will be continuous whispers about Day going to the NFL, losing coaching staff and support staff to the NFL and elsewhere in the college football landscape, and we have the perfect recipe to defeat them once and for all in 2021. I firmly believe O State can lose a few games next year and the East will be up for grabs. THIS IS OUR YEAR.
It's a real shame Day hasn't recruited any good players to step in. Losing all those star players is probably gonna come as a real surprise to him.

The entire first string of replies is the op being accused of being a buckeye troll.

How dysfunctional is that fanbase when they accuse anyone who is optimistic of being a troll? Fucking seriously? They are so broken. It's glorious.
