#21 The Ohio State University vs. Nebraska, Tuesday, January 14, 6:30 p.m., FS1

I did not think that Walker played all that well against Indiana or Maryland but neither did any of the other three so I guess it is take your pick. I would guess that Carton is off the ball. Just cannot see him playing PG right now so Walker will probably get the nod at PG but call me concerned.

walker, carton, washington, and muhammad in losses to iu/md/uw/wvu:

35/122 (29%) overall
16/61 (26%) behind the arc
105 points
21 assists
33 turnovers

if we take our four guards over the last four games and average them out to one player's stat line for one game, this is roughly what it comes out to...

7 points (2/8 overall and 1/4 from three), 1 assist, and 2 turnovers

if that's your backcourt player's average stat line, you will win very few meaningful games. you can certainly get by with a backcourt of four players scoring 28 points, but it's the inefficiency that kills us. we're wasting so many possessions.
