I don't have one, but i know people who do and they love it. Some of them had the Wii, but after getting the Kinect they said they will never go back. Personally i think the Kinect has only scratched the surface. There will tons of great games created for it. A lot were announced at E3 last month which will be coming out in the fall and holiday season.

With the announcement of the new Wii, which is almost taking a step back, i think the Kinect will dominate this new wave of gaming within the next few years. The Wii currently has the market, but i think more and more people will go towards the Kinect.

I have one but have not played many games yet (since I rarely buy anything besides NCAA).

The interface is terrific. It absolutely blows the Wii out of the water since it tracks your entire bodies movement, not just 1-2 sticks. The third party tricks hackers have come up with have really revealed the power and potential of the unit, and even better Microsoft is cultivating those enterprising developers with support of their own.

The Kinect Sports demo was pretty fun. It seemed similar to Wii Sports except you could no longer get away with playing on the couch.

The Kinect Adventures game was enjoyable and a lot more engaging than the obstacle courses I've tried out on the wii.

The graphics obviously blow the Wii away, as well as the larger user base and potential for party action.

One nice feature is the Netflix and music support, so if you're doing something around the house, you can wave your hand in front of the TV to change the station or skip a track. No need to track down the controller. This is nice for parties or just daily use.

Introducing Microsoft's Kinect Fun Labs

Kinect Sports is lots of fun. Can't wait to move out of my apartment so I can actually use my Kinect again.
Hands-on with Nyko's Zoom Kinect and extended battery packs for the 3DS

We tried out Zoom Kinect, a set of lenses for Microsoft's favorite sensor bar that lets those residing in diminutive domiciles be the controller without rearranging their furniture. The add-on worked flawlessly when we gave it a go on Kinect Adventures -- Kinect had no trouble tracking our movements even though we were a few feet closer to the sensor than recommended. Zoom Kinect is slated for an August 16th release and will cost $29.99, a paltry sum compared to the price of buying a bigger living room. But wait, there's more! See our impressions of Nyko's other new products after the break.

I'll be getting one here eventually. They announced next years Tiger Woods game will be kinnect compatible. I think I may also pick up Forza for it and grab the speed wheel as well, although they haven't announced if kinnect is needed for the speed wheel

Tiger Woods for Kinect just sounds amazing. Basically a golf simulator in your house. Do they have and specifications on if you can actually hold/use a real golf club while you play it, or do you just have to do the motion of swinging?

They haven't released any specs on it yet. I'm curious as to how they would capture the swing and implement a draw/fade/hook/slice, how hard the ball is struck, putting, etc.

Also picks up voice commands, doesn't it?
