A BelieveLand product will be coming to the Buckeyes’ camp on July 22

Harris will be at Friday Night Lights

Big-time Ohio State wide receiver target Jaylen Harris (Cleveland, OH / Cleveland Heights) has confirmed that he will be at Friday Night Lights in July. Harris, a longtime Buckeye lean, holds 20 total offers and is a top ten player in the state of Ohio. Right now, Alabama and Michigan State seem like the biggest competition to land the four-star prospect, while a slew of other Big Ten programs are trying to make up ground.

Since the beginning of this recruitment, Harris has held the Buckeyes at or near the top of his list. He hasn't given a verbal to Urban Meyer, but that doesn't seem like an issue. The 2017 class is setting up to be possibly the best in school history. There's always a chance that Harris pulls the trigger at camp in July, where he's surely going to receive the red carpet treatment. If he doesn't, Ohio State will keep having to work and extend the lead for the 6-foot-5 wide receiver from Cleveland Heights.

Harris is ranked No.5 in the state of Ohio and No.24 in the country at WR. Currently, Ohio State doesn’t have any WRs committed in the 2017 class – but a few are mulling over the idea of being a Buckeye.

Wade: We'll win Championships

Land-Grant Holy Land caught up with five-star cornerback Shaun Wade (Jacksonville, FL / Trinity Christian Academy) on Tuesday. In case you missed it, check out the full interview here and what he said about his expectations when he arrives in Columbus.

Wade is part of the loaded 2017 class, and has five-star recruit status. In a state rich with talent, he is considered the third best player in the Sunshine State and second best CB in the country.

Martell Back at it Again on Twitter

Tate Martell (Las Vegas, NV / Bishop Gorman) has been the hype man/ recruiter for the Buckeyes since committing on June 12. When he isn’t recruiting for the Buckeyes, he’s trying to get his future teammates a few more followers on Twitter.

On Tuesday, the No.1 dual-threat QB for the 2017 class wanted Buckeye nation to give a Twitter follow to Brendon White (Powell, OH / Olentangy Liberty).

#BuckeyeNation go follow our
2017 OSU commit..... ⭕⭕⭕

White, who committed to the Buckeyes back on Oct. 2, 2015, is listed at both the WR and safety position. The 6-foot-1, 200-pounder is the No.2 ranked player out of Ohio – and one of the key people commits to the 2017 class.

If you’re wondering what White brings to the table, take a look at his tape.

If White keeps playing like the way he is in his highlight reel, it won’t take him too long to get that blue and white checkmark next to his name.

DC Area Native has Ohio State as leader

Just when you thought the Buckeyes defense for the 2017 class couldn’t get any better, another top prospect could be added.

Chase Young (Hyattsville, MD / DeMatha) is a five-star weak side linebacker and is projected to be a 50/50 commit to either the Buckeyes or Maryland Terrapins, according to the 247Sports Crystal Ball predictions. However, the odds may not be at 50/50, as Young told 247Sports after attending a camp over the weekend that “you could say that” Ohio State was his leader at the moment.

Like Harris, Young will be at Friday Night Lights in July to show off what he can do. It will be only a matter of time until we know if Ohio State defensive guru Larry Johnson, who had an illustrious career as a high school football coach in Maryland, can lure the 6-foot-5, 225-pounder to the Buckeyes – and possibly make the greatest recruiting class ever assembled.
