Buckeyes travel to the Breslin Center, attempting to sweep the season series with Sparty.

This game follows the Iowa-TTUN game on ESPN, which hopefully won’t run over by much.

So how do the Buckeyes learn and move on from a home loss to their top rival?

There are areas this Ohio State team can improve. Holtmann would rather not give up 11 3-pointers and 92 points while being out-rebounded. The Buckeyes are going to do it by focusing on themselves rather than how they competed with a fellow top-ranked team.

“My focus right now is just going to be on areas that we can improve and grow and get better,” Holtmann said. “There are things that we can do as coaches to put our guys in a little bit better position defensively. That’s really what I’m going to do. I think in terms of a measuring stick, I do think they’re good, and they’re deserving of everything that comes their way.

“But my focus is our team, and I think we’re a good team, as well. I think improvement, we need to be better come Thursday night in certain areas.”

Just sayin': The end of the regular season is just brutal:

#3 scUM
Sparty (still a very dangerous team)
#9 Iowa
#5 Illinois

truly it takes a rare mind to note that ending the season with #3 ttun, msu, #9 iowa, and #5 illinois would be a tall challenge.

Well there were some saying MSU was basically a gimme win I was saying weeks ago that all 5 games at the end (including Penn State) would all be all out wars.

That is all. Let's just hope Michigan was a blimp on the radar and we win out and grab that #2 seed in the Big Ten Tournament.

Well there were some saying...
and there are some -- or just one, really -- who say that every single game osu has ever played or will play is a must-win.

i'm shocked -- shocked, i tell you! -- that the second psu game turned out to be close after the first one was decided by a whopping 4 points after trailing by 8 with 8 to go.

Glad to have you back around BG don't know how long you've been back...but I can say we missed you there for a bit

This game is going to be very tough without Kyle. He is pretty high on my list of guys I wouldn't want to play without at MSU.

"We don't have a guy on our roster that plays quite like Kyle and kind of brings his multi-dimension energy and rebounding and physicality. Obviously it's a concern. That's what we've looked at the last couple days. Obviously Seth will be important. Zed, as you mentioned. And then depending if Musa is available, he'll be important as well."
