What an escape by Michigan. Teams are still opting for the ohNOESitsSTAUSKASrarrRRRR!!!!1!! defense leaving Morgan wide open for the dumpoff, which he banked off the back iron.


Then Michigan exemplifies it's typical anemic defense letting Illinois catch the ball at halfcourt and race in for a completely uncontested jumper from 10 feet, all in the span of 2 seconds. And also like usual, they get away with not playing defense and win the game.

I've aged 10 years watching them in this tourney. Ugly is an understatement, but the wins are sweet!
