Game Thread #7 tOSU 18, Purdue 26 (Oct 17, Noon ET, BTN)

Major yes, and also forseeable.

I think we see Mr. Berry this weekend as well...if Boom can't go.

And I love having Small and Thomas back returning kicks. If the KR team can block even half as well as they did last game, then I think we'll be seeing alot more skipped offensive possesions

Note - you may see some info saying that tOSU's second longest conference road streak from '74-'77 was only 11 games, since the official site published that data incorrectly this week.
FYI: For some reason, some University material, such as OSU's own official record book, as well as Jack Park's Ohio State Football Encyclopedia (2003 Edition, page 462) lists the Oct 22, 1977 Northwestern game in the season recap as being a home game (or omits the at that would indicate it was a road game). However, the game recap in Park's Encyclopedia correctly notes this, describes the game as being played at Dyche Stadium, and it is reported correctly on cfbdatawarehouse.com.

I hope the kid takes his time on coming back so that he doesn't aggravate the injury further. The D looks to be strong without him; he will be needed most down the stretch against PSU, Iowa, and scUM.

Yes, Dexter is likely out for the next 2-3 games. With our depth on the line we don't need to rush him back. Also, I am hoping we see a bit of Jaamal Berry. We will need him for sure during that final 3-game stretch you were talking about.....followed by the Rose bowl if not the National Championship game.

I'm making the trip out to West Lafayette this weekend. My first Buckeye road game. Should be fun.

Go Bucks!
You'll feel at home.

Can't wait. Go Bucks!

Just to add- this was when Purdue was ranked #23 in the country, at night- and the Buckeyes still took over 70% of the stadium. Now it's a 1-5 Purdue team at Noon? No way Purdue fans show up.
