The only way [censored]ing Purdue scores 17 on us is if we empty the bench for the entire second half.

Yeah....the only weapon that Purdue has on offense is WR Keith Smith. He has had 4 games of >100 yards receiving so far this year. He did have a great game against Notre Dame. But I don't see that being enough firepower to trouble our defense.....which will the best Purdue faces all year. My prediction.....41-10.

If they still had the Moustache on the sidelines I'd be more concerned. Tiller really upgraded the talent coming into Purdue and got them to play above their skill level frequently.

If this team hasn't quit they could be tough. They certainly had enough offense to put points on the board agaist Oregon and to put a scare in to Notre Dame.

Can they hold the Buckeye defense to 12 points? Can they hold the defense and special teams to 18? Will the Buckeye offense show up? Any two of those and I can see the Bucks rolling to a 28 point win.

There were rumors floating around that Tiller and the athletic director at Purdue were not exactly seeing eye-to-eye....not sure how much of that was true, but I heard that it may have been major contributing factor to his exit. I agree.....that Joe Tiller really put Purdue football on the map, and he was able to recruit some very talented QBs.

As for the Notre Dame game.....the new coach Danny Hope called a very ill-timed timeout that may have cost Purdue the ball game. They really should have won it. As it stands that timeout put Jimmy Clausen in the Heisman race which peeves me.

Can't wait. Go Bucks!

Just to add- this was when Purdue was ranked #23 in the country, at night- and the Buckeyes still took over 70% of the stadium. Now it's a 1-5 Purdue team at Noon? No way Purdue fans show up.

I was at this game with my family. It was incredible. Sat with a bunch of nice PU folks. The all were amazed how during their "Black Out" we could overrun their entire stadium. It was a fun night for sure... and FTR: The folks in WL are gracious, friendly and great hosts.

Game week!

A few years back I went to the game, but knew I was cutting the trip very close, and sure enough, arrived a few minutes after kickoff. The parking signs were taken down and I couldn't figure out which way to go. When I stopped to ask a lot attendant, some folks tailgating in the alumni lot invited me to park there so I wouldn't miss more of the game, and the attendant offered to drive me down to the gate in his cart. Those folks were beyond awesome.

Major yes, and also forseeable.

I think we see Mr. Berry this weekend as well...if Boom can't go.

And I love having Small and Thomas back returning kicks. If the KR team can block even half as well as they did last game, then I think we'll be seeing alot more skipped offensive possesions

I seriously doubt we'll see Berry at all this weekend.

Yes, that time out was boneheaded and basically gave the Irish a free play. They didn't have any time outs and would have had to spike the ball and go for it on fourth down. With the time out, ND got two chances to punch it in. I don't know if Hope called it himself though.
