A Diamond in the rough

I live here in Jacksonville and I saw a young man who really seems to have some talent to play the game. His name is Corey Roth out of Sandlewood High here in Jacksonville. He's listed at 6'5" and really has great quickness for a white player. He scored 33 points against St. Augustine 2 weeks ago and he really impressed me. His dad is a big buckeye fan and he told me that nothing from Ohio State has come thier way in regards to interest or a letter of intent. Is there anyway I could get Thad Matta's attention or would he even be interested in him. Maybe an address or E-mail of Ohio State Basketball would help me send some hi-lights or sports clippings of this kid tothe Ohio State basketball progam. Any suggestions would be helpful. Well there is always places for walk-ons if he isnt getting interest from other schools and thinks he can play...

Just find a way to send a Thad a tape and then I am sure that the first thing from Thad would be to send him tape...

If you really think this kid is that good, then you should talk to his H.S. coach and see if he can do a little recruiting for the kid, or at least give you some idea on how you and Corey's Dad could get the ball rolling. You never know, with early departures and all, there could be a spot for him here.
