A pair of prospects from Georgia could make Ohio State's 2017 class terrifying

The Peach State always puts out top talent, and the Buckeye staff is already planting flags there.
Since the beginning of Urban Meyer's career in Columbus, Ohio State has recruited as easily one of the top schools in the country. In fact, according to the 247Sports composite rankings, Ohio State recruited 39 of the top 100 players in the country from 2012-2016. The rest of the Big Ten conference football teams had 36 total of the country's top 100 prospects.
Shift gears and the Ohio State football 2017 recruiting class is following Urban Meyer's track record. With 11 commits already, Ohio State boasts the top-ranked class according to every major recruiting service out there. Even though it's extremely early, the 2017 class could very well end up being Urban Meyer's best class at Ohio State.
Sermon planning OSU visit
Trey Sermon of Marietta, Georgia is 2017's seventh ranked running back and a top 100 prospect in the nation according to 247Sports. While the 4-star lives in the heart of Georgia Bulldog territory, his love affair with Ohio State is no secret. Having one trip to Columbus under his belt already -- he visited Ohio State for their annual Friday Night Lights camp where he actually earned his offer this past summer -- Sermon now has plans to return back to campus. As of right now, Sermon has announced that he will be back in Ohio on February 15, to check out Ohio State and see again what the Buckeyes have to offer.
While the 6'1', 210-pound back has offers from the likes of Alabama, Oregon, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Notre Dame, and just about everyone else in college football, Sermon is most notably interested in two main schools. The home state Georgia Bulldogs are one, and the other is of course Ohio State. With nearly a calendar year before Trey signs to play college ball, there's nothing but time for things to take their course in his recruitment. However, currently Ohio State is running away with the 247Sports crystal ball predictions as the destination for Sermon. One thing to note: the Buckeyes have a top 15 ranked running back already committed to them for the 2017 class in Todd Sibley, but if Sermon wants in, Ohio State surely won't turn him away.

Current 2017 Ohio State safety commit Isaiah Pryor of Lawrenceville, Georgia gave his pledge to the Buckeyes in July of 2015. Since then, Pryor has recently transferred to the prestigious IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. While Pryor is still getting settled at his new school, he had time to interview with Scout.com and discuss how the transition has been to this point.
Buckeye fans may be asking themselves how solid Pryor's commitment to Ohio State is. I mean, after all, Pryor is from SEC country and now attends IMG Academy in Florida, where he will be in shouting distance of many of the nation's elite programs. However, Ohio State will be comforted in knowing that to the very same question, Pryor mentioned, "I'm very solid with Ohio State." Rest easy Buckeye fans, this 6'2, 200-pound stud grades out as the nation's second-best safety prospect (a 4-star, according to 247Sports) and he's sold on Ohio State as his college destination. With a guy like Pryor, who already has 40 total scholarship offers under his belt, it's no wonder why Ohio State has an already loaded 2017 class.

The nation's best offensive tackle prospect in the 2017 class according to 247Sports is Miamisburg, Ohio product Josh Myers. Besides the ranking, the greatest thing about Myers is that he is already committed to Ohio State's 2017 class. While the 6'6, 290-pound monster gave his verbal to the Buckeyes in January of last year, he has been nothing but solid to Ohio State.
Never wavering once, Josh now has plans to be enrolled early to Ohio State next January. With his incredible size and talent, getting to Columbus ahead of schedule will be a huge benefit for Josh. The added time spent with strength coach Micky Marotti and the chance to compete in spring ball will give Myers the inside track to crack the offensive line rotation. Needless to say, the future of Ohio State's offensive line is looking very bright.
I don't know if this is out there, but five-star OT Josh Myers plans to enroll at Ohio State early next year.
