For the most part I don't like N.D. fans, but Chief has earned at least a little respect, both for what he says, and for enduring the nonstop harassment from Buckeye fans while visiting here.

The funniest part of this little thread I've noticed is the award Chief has, while 27's seems to be missing....

You're damn right I know who I am... I'm a fan who cares enough to live and die for both teams that I root for. Get over yourself! I expect that kind of smugness out of an ND fan, but not a Buckeye fan.

I don't switch teams, and I don't back off when bad things happen. If I was a fairweather fan, what makes you think I'd have reason to stick around here after the putrid start to the Buckeyes' Big Ten season?

Well, folks, this has been quite amusing. Might I make a suggestion, though? How about NDChief and BN27 settle their differences via PM or some other form of communication, as opposed to tying up everybody else's time. I know I, for one, have a very busy day of perusing internet message boards...

Two totally different things. So, if you called someone on this board a "nigger" and that person turned out to be be black, he/she shouldn't get upset about it? There are terms that are generic insults (such as "douchbag") and other that are targeting, either by gender, race, preference, etc.

Back to the topic...so, let me get this straight, if Ohio State played Syracuse in basketball, you'd root for Syracuse?
