I know that we all hate Scum but you have to admit that at least 70% of us out there WORK with people that are DI-Hard michigan fans and its not a pleasant taks to share. Here in J-ville we were forced to go to local sports bars to watch the game. ABC for the 1st time in the southern region decided to skip our game. And i was not aware of that and I sadly taped the wrong game. Maybe I can get lucky and someone can get me a DVD of the game.

Well anyway to get back to my point of the thread. Sorry........ As I walked in BW3's i noticed the Michigan Fan Clubs Helmet sitting on the table, so I pulled out my two buckeyes and rubbed them briskly on the helmet but not before Scum fans saw me. I thought i was gonna get throwed out for that move but cooler heads prevailed. It was very funny.

My boss at the golf course is President of the fan club of Scum. At the beginning of the 4the quarter he was nowhere to be seen. He left. The next morning his wife told he did a stupid thing. He took about athousand dollars worth of Michigan stuff and wears to the back yard, poured gasoline, lit and flammed it all. I was shocked beyond belief. I approached him later that day and he said it was the most disgraceful game and performance he had witnessed in his 35 years as a fan.

You can still hate Scum and be friends with the people you have to work with but this to me shed a side of the man i thought i knew pretty well. Football is football and win or lose, at somepoint in time we have to learn to get over it. Life is too good to go the route of extreme measures. I just believe all of this was alittle over the top in being a true fan of football. Heard any storys like this - please share.

I have a fairly new co-worker who is a big time Michigan fan, but isn't one of those rub-it-in-your-face type fans. In fact, when we were in the midst of our losing streak, he said he would root for Ohio State for the rest of the season, except for The Game of course, because he really respects Ohio State. We still made a bet on The Game and he now owes me a six-pack, and he asked me first thing this morning what kind of beer I want (he had no intention of backing out of the bet). In fact, we had a good talk about The Game and he asked about some of the plays (he was TDY...that's military talk for essentially a business trip...and didn't get to see a majority of The Game). I asked him if he'd like a copy to watch and he said, "Sure!". He wants to watch it although he knows we smoked them just because he's a good fan and wants to see the parts he missed. The kid's a true fan for his team, and although it's Michigan he roots for, at least he stays with them even when they get pounded. If all Michigan fans were like him, we'd have a hard time hating them. Fortunately, most of them are assholes, so it's easier to say "Fuck Michigan!".

I think most UM fans right now are still with the team. They're headed to the Rose Bowl.

They just want Carr fired. So would I, if I were them.

There are three or four guys around where I work who are Michigan "fans". I put "fans" in quotes because they have no basis for being Michigan fans, other than to annoy all the Buckeye fans around here. Anyway, they've all expected me to give them shit today, but I'm punishing them more by not saying anything. That way, they can't even say, "yeah, but we're still going to the Rose Bowl". I won't even give them that pleasure.
