Akron is going to get it worse than usual

...and they know it. But I don't feel sorry for them at all.

If I had been good enough to play at a MAC school, I would have cherished every second of the butt-kicking I got at the 'Shoe (and I would have chosen a school that had tOSU on their schedule).

The football season is almost here, and in the upcoming weeks, I?m going to do my best to pass the time for the folks at The BBC by previewing the opponents of the Buckeyes this season. There is no better way to pass the time then by analyzing and breaking down what is in store on the road to success in 2011.

At the beginning of the journey are the Akron Zips, a team hoping to rebound after a 1-11 showing in the first season of the Rob Ianello regime. Despite the struggles last season, there are high hopes for the Zips in 2011. Head Coach: Rob Ianello (1-11), 2nd year- If the name sounds familiar, it has nothing to do with his abilities as a head coach. The former recruiting coordinator and receivers coach under Charlie Wiess at Notre Dame became known as one of the best at pulling talent from their hometown to the playing field. Specifically at the offensive skill positions, were names like Golden Tate, Brady Quinn, Michael Floyd, Maurice Stovall, Jeff Samardzija and many others have excelled.

:io:

I have two in 24C, row 2 (25 yard line) that I don't plan to use if someone wants to take them off my hands. I am officially done with the alumni lottery, btw.
