Alabama Crimson Tide (official thread of Football, Fake Championships and Banjo)

This bammer team exposes Joey Freshwater's limitations as a coordinator. I think Henry is in the same league, or at least close enough to it, as Fournette or Chubb. But instead of leaning on him, they're only giving him an average of 16-17 carries a game. With shaky QB play, that's idiotic. He should be getting 25 carries a game. Same story against us in the Sugar Bowl. Henry was breaking off huge chunks of yards, but Kiffin insisted on trying to get his relatively ineffective passing game going. If they would have kept feeding Henry, I'm not sure the Bucks would have been able to roar back into that game and win it.
The entire state agrees with you. The other night on Saban's radio show, a caller asked him, "why don't y'all hit nobody in the mouf anymore." Saban tried to take a diplomatic approach, but you could tell he agreed with the dude.

As a 150 lb man, I want to see people destroy each other on the football field, i.e. do all things I never could. I'm very disappointed in the style of offense so far.

I feel like the defense is a good bit better this year than last.

  • Bert is hitting his weight, which is impressive
  • Butch is hitting his I.Q.
  • Bob isn't the only "big game" guy in the family
  • Kudos to Lesticles, Little Nicky and the OBC. Like them or not, that's solid work.
  • Dan Mullen....just.....uncle. wow.

Perhaps a bit of optimism on the Thursday prior to gameday:

"In 2012 UGA had signed 84 players from 2009-2012 during the oversigning period. Bama signed 103. This time around UGA has signed 102 from 2012-2015, Bama has signed 102 as well."

What percentage of the fanbase uses Joey Freshwater instead of Lane?
