Alabama Crimson Tide (official thread of Football, Fake Championships and Banjo)

MSU showed Bama can be slowed greatly by a strong defensive line that blitzes well.

MSU also showed that if you don’t have a good offense, you can’t win.
But didn't they lose 24-0?

https://sports.yahoo.com/heres-one-...ege-football-playoff-expansion-202745969.html

Author is transparent in that he wants an 8-Team Playoff and presupposes this is the best way to go about it:

All it requires is seven results, all but one of which is the predicted outcome.

Notre Dame wins out, defeating Syracuse and USC.

Alabama defeats the Citadel and Auburn.

Georgia defeats Massachusetts and Georgia Tech.

And then … Georgia upsets Alabama in the SEC title game.

I'm assuming he intends for one loss Alabama to top one loss Michigan in the rankings.

You forget SEC.... so Alabama beat a great team so they need to go even higher in the rankings... and as Alabama is so great, even in losing MSU deserves to be bumped up a bit for there great losing effort... I think I got there logic right...
The rest of the SEC probably gets a bump because of Bama, but this doesn’t seem to be the right thread to be basking the SEC. Alabama has earned their stripes for a decade now.

of course they have... but its all interconnected.. they get extra positive rankings and press... so they get better recruits.. so they get better players... so they get better... so they get extra positive rankings and press.. Without ESPN backing them Alabama might still be a juggernaut.. but they might not... what I am trying to say is.... FUCK ESECPN.. I am ready to secede.

To a point they do... a few years if not for the over inflated ratings of there fellow SEC members would there body of work raised to the level to get into the champship game.... If OSU got the same perks.... I wonder how there last decade would shake out....
