No DE, I never said I was offended. What bothers me is that jrj went from less that 17 posts per day before the Michigan stuff to over 66 posts per day in the last 6 days with the Michigan stuff. Doesn't that strike you as wierd? That's all. I never said he should not be allowed to post. I fact I've said if he had something to say, go ahead. But, if you check the majority of his posts ... they don't really say anything. What's the point of typing in a string of numbers in the 1 to 2000 thread? Just so folks can see he lost a bet ... over and over and over. What's the point?

The pic of the Down's kid at Bucknuts was an attempt to take a jab at Tibor by insinuating he was retarded. I don't think the same picture, had it been posted on a special olympics site, would be trying to convey the same message do you?

OK, but was the picture of the kid posted in the Retard Room or the Football discussion board? I guess if it was posted in the RR, it might have been on topic, although it appears that there might be a few actual retards posting in the BN Retard Room today.

I agree with you DiHard to an extent. It is his right if it offends him.

But if truly believe deep down inside the two issues are similiar, you are sadly mistaken.

I totally agree with you about that jnjgrhm asshole. I HATE that bastard more than you can imagine. He is the primary reason I don't go to Bucknuts anymore. I normally hangout in the Basketball forum but he has single handedly made it an unplesant place with his constant OB bashing. If someones opininon is different from mine, that's fine, but if they find a way to constantly assult you with their uneducated opinion then that's just wrong. Everyone knows his worthless opinion but he feels the need to state it over and over and over in every damn thread!

That "If you don't like it, then don't read it" theory works most of the time, but some idiot is essentially yelling you your ear, at some point you have to turn around and just pop him in the face and shut him up.

I really wanted to stay out of this.... but why is the picture of the Downs' kid considered offensive but calling the General Discussion board "The Retarded Room" is so accepted by everyone? Donnyjr had a post the other that said something like Attention all tard room posters..... why is that being allowed?

This really isn't to one poster but more like a general question.

One more reason Buttnuts went to hell.

So how's our "let's let people talk shit out and not make situations worse by swooping in and just stomping our jackboots all over conversation and debate before it can be worked out reasonably" concept working out?

lol, that's not a baited question, I'm just geniunely curious about what people think.

I never put "rules" up, because I wanted community standards and policing. But like anything else, we'll have to feel our way through some of these things and tweak as we go.

If I make fun of drunk Irishmen, and one of you is a drunk Irishman and gets offended, instead of having people complain to the mods and admins, let's address the issue and either move on with some sort of resolution, or agreeing to disagree.
