Yeah, college football doesn't have TV time outs. Their games last 3 and a half hours for some other odd reason.

But they have commercial breaks after almost every fucking possession change or timeout. And they do have "media" timeouts, which is the same.

QB and OL play is pretty atrocious aside from the Ole Ball Coach putting up a 40 spot yesterday.

That's basically what it's meant to be, but let's also remember they had one month of camp and played one preseason game.

It's a developmental league. It starts after the SB and ends on draft weekend, right before the first mini-camps. Play will improve over the course of the season but anyone expecting it to look like the NFL will be disappointed.

I like the idea of more football and I hope this is successful. I don't think anyone should expect NFL-caliber play, but it's football. In February. I'm not going to plan my weekend around it, but what else do I have going on?
