Oh, yeah? Well, in your initial post you said, quote: "i personally like the fact that Arch is the only two-timer." That is indeed mentioning the record and pretty much shows how you feel. Your post clearly implies that you would take a loss a Purdue in order to protect Griffin's status as the only two-time Heisman winner. Take a look at the responses in this thread...do you see a single one taking your question seriously, let alone supporting it?

{sarcasm} yes, i would LOVE to sacrifice a potentially undefeated season and have orton throw the ball all over us en route to his heisman. maybe he can put up 400+ and 3tds against our highly regarded defense. he could even clinch the game with "holy boilermaker!" that'd sure get the national media's attention! {/sarcasm}

edit: there really is a sarcasm font!? that's awesome. i changed the brackets so it would be more noticeable

Purdue will not be undefeated when we go to Purdue.

Why do we need Orton to win the Heisman or else Jason White will? Why can't tOSU run the table and have Senior Mike Nugent win? :wink: In all honesty...by the end of the season I think somebody else in the country is going to step up to take this award. Usually the frontrunner this early in the season doesn't pan out.

Do you understand what losing to Purdue would do? I don't want to hear from those fucks all year about that game. It sucked enough when we lost in 2000. I want a solo Big 10 championship. I want to play in the Orange or Rose Bowl. All of thsoe things can only add to tOSU's great tradition and history. No individual award won by anybody else will take away from it.

i do like the fact arch is the only two timer, but im still confused on where i said I would personally accept a loss?
i wouldnt expect many, if any to "support it" as it was a question.
and i dont really care if anyone takes the question seriously, it was just to start a fun discussion, you are the one who freaked out (forget your prozac today?)
