Who deserves a game ball today?

I'm listing "other" as an option so people can write in who they think deserves one that didn't make the list.

Edit: For some reason the length of the title is causing me problems. If I try to enter "Who deserves a game ball?" it won't accept the edit and I couldn't start a thread with that title. Where is Clarity's avatar when you need it? :hatepc:

I said Zwick because with Smith unavailable, there was a lot of pressure on him to perform. He wasn't perfect, but he played pretty well and he got the ball into the hands of his playmakers.

I think I might be guilty of taking our defense for granted. I expect them to dominate every week, and they rarely let me down.

Justin Zwick, without question. He was crisp, controlled and nearly flawless.

He should start next Saturday because he has proved he can run this offense -- by involving all his weapons; always going to the appropriate open receiver; and scrambling effectively when necessary. No reason Smith can't play a role, to change the pace and stress the Tex-ass defense. But Zwicky should definitely start.

This is a very tough call and that is sweet. When is the last time we had three offensive players who were legitimate candidates for that honor? I voted Holmes, but I don't think I agree. The D was a team effort, so if I had to go with an individual it should be Pittman. Wells and Schnitker proved that the rushing yards weren't just there for the taking.

I went with Coach Heacock because as promised the defense was attacking and Betts was never comfortable, until Heacock called off the dogs that is.

I think Zwick performed extremely well today. Pittman ran hard and broke tackles today. Ginn and Holmes are, well, Ginn and Holmes. The offense is loaded. Starting defense looks great. I'm just thankful the second string defense gave us Buckeye fans something to complain about this week. :)

What's the argument for Whitner, here? He had a couple good plays, and of course, the TD.

HOWEVER, how can you deny the game ball to probably our most consistent player: Antonio Pittman. He bullied the DLine, threw out sick stiffarms, and wrestled TERNA NANDE forward past the markers.

No question, Pittman gets it.

I will also go with Heacock. As much as he moved around Carp, used different defensive fronts, and mixed in a variety of stunts and blitzes- it was a great plan. Our "D" looked so good that I had to remind myself that Miami is a good MAC team and just not some push over.

our secondary will be amazing. salley and youboty both could be all-americans, and whitner is a great strong safety, im still worried about the other corner spot though, how did everett play today, i didnt see him much.
