our secondary will be amazing. salley and youboty both could be all-americans, and whitner is a great strong safety, im still worried about the other corner spot though, how did everett play today, i didnt see him much.

He did what he had to do but whiffed on one or tackles. I think he will be just fine.

This was tough. Donte certainly had it on the defensive side. After the penalty on the punt I thought to myself how great it would be if he snagged an interception once Miami took it over. I never thought it would be on the first play and returned for a TD. Any momentum Miami may have gained on that penalty was completely destroyed by Donte's next play.

I went with Pittman. It was good to see him hitting the lanes, falling forward and giving us hope for a return to a powerful running game. Plus, carrying Miami's stud defender for a few yards was nice as I will remind the people around here that an Akron kid knocked back a Grand Rapids kid.

Gotta go with Zwick. He was under alot of pressure and everyone was thinking OSU could slip up against Miami thinking of game 2. His stats looked above average to me, but most importantly he got the job done in the leadership role when we needed it most.

Zwick: 17/23, 155yards, 6.7 average, 1 TD, 1 int, 5 rushes for 25 yards.

Good choices BTW.

My main argument for Donte is he put the game away. Miami still had some fight in them until Donte took that INT back to make it 20-0. That pretty much ended the game before halftime. Way to make up for a bad penalty, Donte!
